History

More than thirty years of gas Lift and broad production engineering experience was gained by A. Stan Logie in working at ChevronTexaco, Pioneer Natural Resources, Energen Resources and independent operators.  As a consultant, the focus is on gas lift installation designs and production optimization for various methods of artificial lift, trouble-shooting, and providing technical consultation.

Emphasis is placed on cost efficiently producing wells to “end of life” using the artificial lift method of intermittent gas lift. Wells are successfully produced ranging from 300 to 10 barrels of fluid per day on gas lift, with significant reductions in both lease operating costs and injection gas volume.

Worked in senior engineering capacities for major operators in East Texas, and the Permian Basin, Midland, Texas.  Best industry practices were used to reduce lease operating costs, maximize oil and gas production and increase revenue to Business Units.  Recognized by ChevronTexaco management as a high performance employee with a proven track record.

As the Applications Engineer and Technical Advisor at Schlumberger, Stan designed continuous flow and intermittent gas lift installations servicing the USA and Canada.  As the Lead Engineer, he trained Schlumberger gas lift engineering staff and client engineering staff on best gas lift industry practice.

ConocoPhillips was added to the list of companies Stan has helped by providing gas lift training to engineering staff.
